Coach Bowers visit

Coach Bowers stopped by the other day and shared one of his childhood stories with the class. We heard all about "Louie the Lizard" and look forward to stories about the two headed squirrel and his bad bike wreck!

Fred's science experiment

Fred's experiment was called Pop Cork! The ingredients were yeast, warm water and sugar. (March 4)

Interrupting Chicken- puppet show pictures

On February 17, 2011 our class entertained the P1 to third graders with a puppet show titled Interrupting Chicken by David Ezra Stein. The class made puppets and scenery with Miss Coates. We enjoyed a wonderful reception back in the classroom following the show. Thank you to the parents for all your help! It was such a special day for the class and I was so proud of the children!

Polygon Palaces

Second graders are learning about geometrical shapes and designed "polygon palaces" to coordinate with our language arts fairy tale study.
